Appointment Policy
Doctor visits are scheduled by appointment. Each day, we reserve appointment times for pets who may need to be seen promptly due to illness. For your convenience, we also offer drop-off appointments if your schedule does not align with our available appointment times. We encourage you to call our hospital to schedule an examination, as this helps us provide timely care while minimizing wait times
New Patient Deposit
Due to increased demand for veterinary services and longer wait times nationwide, scheduling timely appointments has become more challenging. Additionally, we have experienced an increase in missed appointments despite email, text, and phone reminders.
To help keep appointment times available and reduce wait times for all patients, Crosspointe Animal Hospital now requires a deposit to secure new patient appointments. This deposit is fully applied to your first visit and is only non-refundable if the scheduled appointment is not attended
No-Show Policy
A “no-show” is a client who misses an appointment without cancelling it. If you're not present at your scheduled appointment, it will be recorded in your chart as a "no-show." A $50 fee will be applied to the account as a result of a “no-show.”
Surgery No-Show Policy
A surgery "no-show" is a client who misses a surgery appointment without providing 24 hours’ notice of cancellation. The first time this occurs, we will call to offer to reschedule the appointment, and our missed surgery fee of $100 will be waived. At the second missed surgical appointment, we will call to reschedule, and you will be charged a missed appointment fee of $100.
Cancellation of an Appointment
To ensure we can best meet the medical needs of all our patients, we kindly ask that you notify our office as soon as possible if you are unable to keep a scheduled appointment. This allows us to offer the appointment time to another patient in need of care. As appointment availability is limited, advance notice helps us provide timely veterinary services to as many patients as possible.
