Texas born, Virginian raised. Caresa's love for animals runs deep. She has a dog and 2 cats at home, Malibu, Mustang Sally and Poppy. She is notorious for bringing animals home unannounced, whether keeping them or just for a sleepover. Caresa has even enjoyed nursing a newborn kitten. She is affiliated with Pit Bull Rescue and Sanctuary located in Southern Virginia. So, in her free time she tries to do what she can for them. The rest of her time is spent chasing after her kids (Malibu included).
Karla has been with Crosspointe Animal Hospital since 2005. She lives at home with her daughter and her dog Izzy. Karla left her career in accounting to work in a field that brought her more enjoyment. Karla enjoys dancing, getting together with friends, and going to the movies.
Erin has been with Crosspointe Animal Hospital since 2008. She started working in a kennel when she was 16 and her love of animals has kept her in this field ever since. In her spare time Erin enjoys dancing and going to the movies. She aspires to become a LVT. Erin lives at home with her pets, Doobie a ferret, Marley a snake, her two cats Jacobey and Sassy, and her dog Blondie.
Assistant Kennel Supervisor
Niza has been with Crosspointe since 2011. Her love for animals has inspired her to pursue her DVM degree from Virginia-Maryland Regional College of Veterinary Medicine at Virginia Tech. In her free time Niza loves to shop, watch movies and play with her Golden Retriever named Bruno.
Trey has been with Crosspointe since September 2008. He enjoys spending time with his two kids and close family and friends.
Maura has been working at Crosspointe since June 2012. She
shares her home with a dog, 3 cats and a horse. Maura enjoys getting to work
with all the patients that come in to the hospital as well as being a part of
their medical care. In her free time Maura likes to ride and show her horse.
Paige moved to Virginia from Kentucky in 2012. She has a deep abiding
love for animals, especially cats. Paige has five cats at home. Autumn, Tank,
Trapper, and Channi are from Kentucky. She is a cat advocate and her newest
addition, Alvin, was adopted from Crosspointe. In her spare time Paige
likes to watch movies, spend time with her friends and coral her rambunctious
cluster of kitties.
Jordy joined the Crosspointe team in June of 2013. She lives at home with her
sister's family, German Shepard Bascha and two cats Pirscilla & Tabitha. She
is currently a student at George Mason University majoring in biology. Jordy
hopes the knowledge she gains working at Crosspointe will help her to achieve
her dream of working at and one day owning her own zoo. She is pictured above
with a favorite of the Crosspointe staff, Princess.
Katie joined the Crosspointe team in October 2013. She loves working with animals, especially when she can assist with their medical care. She hopes to one day become an LVT. Katie has a soft spot for large breeds of dogs, such as Labs and Shepherds. In her free time, Katie loves watching sports and spending time with her friends and family.
