Dr. Hinn, DVM
Dr. Hinn is a Virginia native and received his DVM
degree from the University of Georgia. His special interests include surgery, veterinary dentistry, birds and exotic pet care as well as that of cats and dogs.Another strong interest that he has developed is that of nutrition and vitamin supplementation. In addition to local and national veterinary associations, he is a member of the Critical Care Society, the American Veterinary Dental Association, and the Association of Exotic Mammal Veterinarians. Dr. Hinn has one kitty named Purry.
Dr. Burbrink, DVM
Burbrink received her veterinary degree from Virginia-Maryland Regional College
of Veterinary Medicine at Virginia Tech, in 2007. Her special interests include dentistry (a
field in which she has taken extensive continuing education courses), soft
tissue surgery, and internal medicine. Dr. Burbrink is married to her high-school
sweetheart, has two boys, and a Boston Terrier named Rommel. She enjoys cheering for all the local sports
teams, especially the Washington Nationals, and loves anything Star Wars
Dr. Berkshire, DVM
Dr. Berkshire is originally from the Seattle area, and moved to DC in 2009. She
attended Washington State University, where she completed her bachelor's degree
in Zoology, as well as her degree in veterinary medicine. Some of her special
veterinary interests include nutrition and weight management, complimentary and
alternative medicine, reproductive medicine, and surgery. Outgoing and bubbly
by nature, Dr. Berkshire enjoys spending her free time with her husband and two
Dobermans, Tucker and Penny. When not working, she can be found at restaurants,
exercising, dancing, or cooking for friends.
Dr. Grimes, DVM
Dr. Grimes joined the Crosspointe team in June 2012. She grew up in Hendersonville, TN, a city just outside of Nashville, and attended both undergraduate and veterinary school at the University of Tennessee-GO VOLS! Her professional interests include surgery and ophthalmology. In her spare time, Dr. Grimes enjoys cooking and trying different restaurants with her boyfriend, Mike, a professional chef, and spending time with her 2 cats, Java and Sydney. She also enjoys exercising and exploring the D.C. sights.
Dr. Skorup, DVM
Dr. Kerry Skorup grew up in the suburbs of Chicago, Illinois. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in Animal Sciences followed by her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from the University of Illinois in Champaign-Urbana. Her professional interests include internal medicine, soft tissue surgery, and preventative care. Dr. Skorup joined the Crosspointe team in 2013 and lives in Arlington with her husband, Brent. Outside of work, she enjoys cooking, running, reading, and spending time with family and friends.
